Honey & Bloom Photography LLC is a wedding and portrait photography business in Chittenango, New York, owned and run by one person. This page explains what information I collect, why I collect it, and what you can ask me to do about it. If you have a question about any of it, email hello@honeyandbloomphoto.com or call (315) 675-1710. A real person reads it.
WHAT I COLLECT
When you inquire, the contact form asks for your name, email, phone number, event date, location, and whatever you choose to tell me about your day. When you book, I collect a mailing address, your partner's name and phone number, and billing details. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never touch my systems. Planning questionnaires collect details about your day: timeline, addresses, family groupings, and any access needs you tell me about. I photograph you and your event, and this site collects standard anonymous web analytics.
HOW I USE IT, AND WHO ELSE SEES IT
I use your information to answer your inquiry, quote your date, write your contract, take payment, plan and photograph your session, deliver your gallery, and keep in touch about your booking. I keep the business and tax records I am required to keep. I do not sell your information, ever, to anyone. A small number of services help me run the business and each gets only what it needs: VSCO Workspace for my CRM and contracts, Pic-Time for galleries, Stripe for payments, Quo for phone and text, and Google Analytics for site traffic. Each has its own privacy policy.
TEXT MESSAGES
If you choose to receive text messages on my contact form, I may text you about your inquiry or your booked session. If you choose email only, I will contact you by email. What I send: appointment and session reminders, confirmations, planning questionnaire prompts, timeline scheduling, and a note when your gallery is ready. These are service messages about work you have asked me to do, and they only go out when there is something to tell you.
Reply STOP to any message and you will stop receiving them. You will get one confirmation, then nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or just email me. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
Marketing texts require your separate, express written consent, and I will not send promotional texts without it.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with the service providers who deliver the messages on my behalf is permitted solely to send them. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for any other purpose.
Opting out of texts never affects your booking or your gallery.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS, AND HOW LONG I KEEP THINGS
Your contract governs how your photographs are used and it takes precedence over anything here. I may use images from your session on my website, blog, social media and in my portfolio, unless your contract says otherwise or you ask me not to. If you would rather I did not, tell me. You do not need a reason. I generally retain contracts, invoices, and related business records for seven years, or longer when required. Your online gallery stays available for at least six months from delivery. I keep my own archive copies for as long as I can, but I can't guarantee storage will always allow it, so please download and back up your photographs rather than relying on the gallery or my archive as your only copy.
YOUR RIGHTS, COOKIES, AND CHANGES
You can ask me to tell you what information I hold, correct anything wrong, delete your information subject to records I am legally required to keep, stop emailing or texting you, or stop using your photographs publicly. Email hello@honeyandbloomphoto.com and I will sort it out. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR, and I will honor them. This site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics, and most browsers let you refuse or delete them. My services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information online from children, though I do photograph children at weddings and family sessions with their parents' permission. If I change this policy I will update the date below, and if a change is significant I will tell you directly.
